Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has full fledged infrastructure/facilities for effective functioning of the cell headed by a Training & Placement Officer. The Training and Placement cell provides the official support base for the Training & Placement of students. The support services offered are in the form of arranging Campus Recruitment Programs, Training Programs, Special Skills Enhancement Programs, Work Shops, Seminars and Industry –Institute Interface Programs etc. The cell is dedicated to function round the year towards generating Placement and Training opportunities for the students. The cell keeps on inviting various industries and reputed firms for Campus Recruitment Programs. Training & related activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programs.

VIMR has come up with an innovative idea of Special Skill Enhancement Programs to impart soft skills, communication skills & other important interpersonal skills to our students through varied programs especially designed, which are clubbed along with their standard academic curriculum in the college hours & will parallel run till the completion of the degree. The unique feature of the program is its practical approach providing an environment which helps in overall gradual development of our scholar. It provides sufficient time to the student to grasp & absorb the training & material, as the semester wise program will be conducted along with their regular curriculum.

This program elevates our students IQ level, receptivity level language level, personality transformation with meditation & yoga, art of living guts,techniques to solve problems,reduce tensions of present life & also gives an exposure to the future corporate world at very nominal charges in addition to their regular college fees.

For this under Industry-Institute Interface, Training & Placement Cell keeps on tie up with the Industries like IBM, TCS, HCL Infosystems Ltd. & many more. The T & P cell is in constant touch with the high level Industries and Companies.

For the first time in M.P. in the year 2007 we had alliance with HCL Infosystems Ltd. Noida for Advanced Computer Training through varied programs especially designed for B.E. students. These programs are innovative & job oriented, helps in Campus Recruitment Process & other competition here or elsewhere & also gives a real feel to fresh professionals.

HCL courses have been designed keeping in mind the specific needs of modern day organizations. Our mission is to transform our students into industry-ready professionals who are ready to take on enterprise-wide IT deployment and integration assignments from the day one, without the need for any further training by their prospective employers.

In B.E. 26% of our eligible students & in M.B.A. more than 50 % students were placed & offered jobs in the various companies in the year 2007.
